I first contacted Christian Counseling Associates several years ago. I had seen another counselor but just didn’t ‘click’ with her. I cold called the CCA office and was amazed at the warm, friendly conversation I had with the person who answered the phone. She connected me with Pauline. I don’t know what I would have done without Pauline since then, she has been the one consistent person in my life. I can’t say enough about her.
I kind of slithered into that first appointment. I was walking through chronic anxiety and depression, aware of many issue but having no idea how to face any of them . . .more

CCA’s therapy has been very helpful and beneficial. They use a Christian perspective in therapy. My therapist prayed with me, incorporated scripture in the sessions and understood my spiritual struggles and sins. I was able to discuss the without judgement, be listened to and be encouraged. This has been a real blessing to me.

“I can’t go on this way, I’ve got to do something to make things change… and I’ve got to protect my kids.” Diane’s face was determined, even as the tears streamed down her cheeks. …
One day their young son had came home excited about something that happened at school. He went running into Jack’s downstairs office to show Daddy the paper with the gold star on it. But when he burst through the door, he caught a glimpse of the pornographic images on Jack’s computer screen. In shock, he backed away even as his Daddy began to rage at him for violating the privacy of his office. …more

I was looking for the Gospel when I was living in Asia, then in India but it was never presented to me. The benefit of the therapy at CCA is it is Christian based. I was very fortunate to find CCA, it is even close to my home. Other therapist will encourage you to “just move on”, but my CCA therapist encouraged me to look at the cause of the problem and helped me correct the cause.
