Lewis E. Barnett, Jr. has been practicing clinical social work for the past thirteen years for the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. He has specialized in child welfare and child protective services. Through his experiences in child welfare, he has had opportunities to work with an array of individuals across the mental health spectrum.

Most of Mr. Barnett’s clinical experience is grounded in crisis intervention and family stabilization. He has had the priviledge of working with individuals across the socioeconomic continuum. In the field of clinical social work, Lewis Barnett has successfully provided services for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse, Conduct Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Impulse Control Disorders. He has had experience in assisting the  identified client as well as the entire family. Currently he is employed part-time with Christian Counseling Associates as a therapist providing individual and family, and couples therapy.

Mr. Barnett is single and has 4 children.
